DISCERNMENT

Not only spiritual discernment allows the believers to discern between the good and the evil but it also allows the believers to know the will of God. Many Christians struggle to find God’s will for their lives. Finding the will of God is same for every born again Christian believer. Every Christian’s primary goal must be to know God. The will of God for His children is to know the will of God. Any person practicing Christianity must know God at a personal level.

Take for example, most of the people know the President or the Prime Minister of their nation. But how many of them know the President personally? To get into the inner circle of the President means to get involved with the President’s daily routine. Similarly, many people claim to know God but they are not in the inner circle of God.

No one can get into the inner circle of God without Jesus Christ interceding on behalf of that person. Lord Jesus Christ won’t intercede until that person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior. Discernment is a gift from God fulfilled through His Son Jesus Christ. First John chapter two and verse seventeen says:

1 John 2:17

¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

A Christian believer’s only job is to know Lord Jesus Christ. Any person who knows the will of Jesus knows the will of God.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
