God wanted the coming of His Son Jesus Christ to be announced well in advance to the whole world. The Son’s coming into this world was no ordinary thing. It was of monumental proportions. It is beyond the human comprehension. God is a sovereign God. He is the One who calls into existence as though it existed before. His sovereignty rules over all things. Things of the above, things of the earth and things below the earth. 

Romans 4:17

God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

He holds the sun in its place and by His glory the heavenly bodies are suspended in the galaxies. He owns the legions of armies of Angels who encircle the throne of God. The heaven is lit up by the magnificent glory of God. The Seraphim and the Cherubim are in His presence.

Psalm 150 and verse six closes by this exaltation.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Such is the God who created this world and everything in it. For a God who owns the earth and all its fullness, the God who calls Himself as the husband of Israel, the God who not only owns the earth but everything else outside of the earth. The millions of galaxies and all the vast universe that He forms and owns. That is the God we serve. The God who can separate the water from the earth and skies. We see His power in the unformed baby to the new born baby. We see His power manifested in so many ways that it is impossible to count them all.

When this God decided to come into this world that He formed, imagine how much more excited the heaven must have been. This is the reason God Himself heralded through the Prophets and through the Law that He was sending His Son to the earth.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
