1. The Futility of Idols
Many people simply practice what their ancestors taught them. They offer prayers, food, flowers, or rituals to images made by human hands. Yet these idols cannot hear, cannot speak, and cannot understand. They are lifeless objects, powerless to save or help.
2. The Greatest Question of All Religions
This leads to the most important question in life: Which religion is true, and who is the true God?
Truth cannot contradict itself. Therefore, not all religions can be true at the same time.
3. Creation Points to One Creator
Every human being shares the same design—two hands, two feet, one face, one body. This unity of design points to one Creator, not many. If multiple gods had created humanity, there would be confusion and inconsistency. Instead, we see order and likeness.
The human race began with one man and one woman. The evidence points to one Designer, one Author of life.
4. There Is Only One Sovereign God
The universe is not ruled by many competing gods but by one supreme Lord. He alone reigns over heaven and earth. He is the God of all creation, the One who holds absolute authority and sovereignty.
5. God Needs Nothing From Man
Unlike false religions that require rituals, offerings, or declarations, the true God is not dependent on human effort.
He does not need:
- recited creeds,
- food or flowers,
- priests or sponsors,
- gurus or intermediaries.
God is self-sufficient. He lacks nothing.
6. God Is Self-Existent and All-Powerful
He created everything by His Word.
He formed the earth.
He spoke light into existence.
He made man from the dust and breathed into him the breath of life.
As Scripture says:
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible… All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”
— Colossians 1:16–17
7. Jesus Christ Reveals God’s Wisdom and Glory
Everything God does flows from His perfect wisdom. That wisdom is revealed in Jesus Christ.
Christ is the wisdom of God, the grace of God, and the glory of God made visible to humanity.
8. Salvation Comes Through Hearing the Gospel
Through His Son, God has given every person the opportunity to know Him. When someone hears the Gospel, it is more than a human message—it is God Himself calling the heart.
9. Knowing God Is Relationship, Not Ritual
Knowing God is not about repeating words or performing ceremonies. It is intimate and personal—like the relationship between a husband and wife.
True faith is not ritual; it is communion with God.
10. Salvation Is Not Earned by Human Effort
No one can bribe God with offerings or impress Him with works. Religious acts cannot purchase forgiveness. We do not climb up to God—He graciously comes down to us.
11. God’s Invitation Has a Name
God has extended an open invitation to all people, and that invitation is Jesus Christ.
Those who receive Him are accepted by God. Those who honor Him are honored by God.
12. The Bible Declares There Is Only One God
The apostle Paul writes:
“We know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one… yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.”
— 1 Corinthians 8:4–6
13. The Final Truth
There is not many gods.
There is not many ways.
There is one Creator, one Lord, one Savior.
His name is Jesus Christ.
Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
