Bible Facts Of The Day, March 15, 2026 “The Almighty God.”

Introduction

Throughout the Bible, God reveals Himself through His names. One of the most powerful names is Almighty God. In Hebrew this name is El Shaddai, meaning the All-Powerful One, the God who is more than enough.

When God introduced Himself to Abraham in Genesis 17:1, Abraham was 99 years old, Sarah was 90, and the promise of a child seemed impossible.

Yet God did not say:
“I am a helpful God.”
“I am a hopeful God.”

He said:

“I am the Almighty God.”

Because when God speaks, impossibility disappears.

1. The Almighty God Rules Over Everything

Revelation 19:6

Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

The word Omnipotent means all-powerful.

God is not struggling to control the world.
God is not surprised by world events.
God is not worried about the future.

Kings rise and fall.
Empires rise and collapse.
But God remains Almighty.

The flood could not stop His plan.
Pharaoh could not stop His plan.
Rome could not stop His plan.
Satan cannot stop His plan.

Because the Almighty reigns.

2. The Almighty God Does the Impossible

Luke 1:37

For with God nothing will be impossible.

Sarah’s womb was dead.
Yet God said “You will have a son.”

The Red Sea was closed.
Yet God opened a highway through the water.

Lazarus was dead four days.
Yet Jesus said:

Lazarus, come forth.

The same Almighty God still works today.

Where man sees a wall,
God sees a doorway.

Where man sees an ending,
God sees a beginning.

3. The Almighty God Protects His People

Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Notice the phrase:

“Shadow of the Almighty.”

If God casts a shadow over your life, nothing can destroy you before your time.

Daniel was in the lion’s den — but the Almighty shut the lions’ mouths.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in the fire — but the Almighty walked with them in the flames.

If the Almighty is with you:

No lion can devour you.
No fire can destroy you.
No enemy can defeat you.

4. The Almighty God Will Judge the World

The same God who saves will also judge.

Revelation 1:8

I am the Alpha and the Omega… the Almighty.

Every king, every ruler, every nation will stand before the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

One day:

The proud will bow.
The unbeliever will confess.
Every tongue will declare:

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Conclusion

The question is not whether God is Almighty.

The question is: Are we walking with Him?

Because the Almighty can be either:

• Your Savior
or
• Your Judge

But today He offers mercy.

The Almighty God invites us to come to Him.

The God who created the universe
The God who parted the Red Sea
The God who raised Jesus from the dead

He is still the Almighty.

And if the Almighty is for you,

Who can be against you?

Closing Challenge

Walk before Him.
Trust Him.
Believe Him.

Because the God of the Bible is not weak.

LORD JESUS CHRISTHe is the Almighty.
