PART IV — Victory Comes Through Complete Obedience
Introduction
Jesus chose obedience over comfort.
He chose God’s will over immediate relief.
True victory is not simply resisting temptation.
It is delighting in obedience.
Three Principles
1. Obedience Requires Trust
Sometimes God’s instructions seem difficult.
Faith obeys before seeing results.
2. Obedience May Delay Immediate Satisfaction
Jesus remained hungry.
Yet He obeyed.
Many blessings require patient obedience.
God rewards faithfulness.
3. Obedience Brings Lasting Victory
Temporary pleasure often leads to lasting regret.
Temporary sacrifice often leads to eternal reward.
Jesus teaches us that God’s will always leads to life.
Application
Choose obedience even when emotions say otherwise.
God honors faithful hearts.
Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
