LORD
Many Christian believers do not experience the power and the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives. The reason they are unable to experience victory in their lives is because they have not learned to make Jesus Christ as their Lord. Making Christ as our Lord means giving Him control over every aspect of our lives.
For many, this is a difficult task. Handing over everything that they control and posses is a monumental task for some Christians. Majority of the so called Christians think that they are doing everything right. Since they are attending Church services every Sunday and saying grace before eating food, they think that God should be pleased by their activities. You see in the Scriptures, Lord Jesus Christ posed this question and drew the attention of the multitude He was speaking to:
Luke 6:46
46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?
Does the above passage sound familiar? This is exactly what happens with us. We will keep saying ‘Lord, Lord,’ but we never mean it. As I mentioned in my previous posts when we say Lord, we are declaring that every area of our life is managed by Lord Jesus Christ. He takes care of us. He provides us with all the provisions. There’s not a single thing that we need to resolve by our effort. We have to learn to leave it to God through His Son Lord Jesus Christ.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
Maranatha!
