Part I — The Compassion of Christ on the Road to Calvary

Jesus reveals divine compassion even while suffering.

1. Jesus Was Surrounded by Rejection

• Betrayed by Judas
• Denied by Peter
• Condemned by religious leaders
• Mocked by soldiers
• Rejected by the crowd

Yet Christ still spoke with mercy.

2. Christ Thinks of Others While Carrying the Cross

Jesus did not focus on His own suffering.
Even in agony, He warned and cared for souls.

This reveals:

• the heart of God,
• the love of Christ,
• the patience of Heaven.

3. Emotional Sympathy Is Not Enough

The women cried emotionally, but Jesus pointed them toward repentance.

Many admire Jesus:

• historically,
• emotionally,
• intellectually,

but never surrender to Him fully.

4. The Savior Still Calls Sinners Today

Even while walking toward death, Jesus was still preaching salvation.

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” — Luke 23:34
