BIBLE FACTS OF THE DAY

  • Bible Facts Of The Day, May 5, 2026 “According to the Bible, Islamism is NOT Compatible with True Christianity”

    May 5th, 2026

    1. THE NATURE OF GOD

    Christianity:

    • One God in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) — the Trinity
    • Matthew 28:19 — “Father… Son… Holy Spirit”
    • God is relational and revealed through Christ

    Islam:

    • Strict absolute oneness of God (Tawhid)
    • God has no partners, no division
    • Rejects the Trinity completely

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Triune God
    • Islam: Absolute singular unity (no Trinity)

    2. THE IDENTITY OF JESUS

    Christianity:

    • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man
    • John 1:1,14 — “The Word was God… became flesh”
    • Worshiped as Lord

    Islam:

    • Jesus (Isa) is a prophet, not God
    • Not the Son of God
    • Not to be worshiped

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Jesus is God incarnate
    • Islam: Jesus is a human prophet

    3. THE CRUCIFIXION

    Christianity:

    • Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again
    • Central to salvation
    • 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

    Islam:

    • Jesus was not crucified (commonly taught he was taken up)

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Cross = salvation
    • Islam: No crucifixion

    4. SALVATION

    Christianity:

    • Salvation by grace through faith
    • Ephesians 2:8–9 — not by works
    • Based on Jesus’ finished work

    Islam:

    • Salvation based on faith + deeds + mercy of God
    • Judgment based on works

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Grace-centered
    • Islam: Works + mercy-centered

    5. SIN AND ATONEMENT

    Christianity:

    • Humanity is fallen; needs redemption
    • Jesus is the substitutionary sacrifice
    • Hebrews 9:22 — blood required for forgiveness

    Islam:

    • No original sin in the same sense
    • Each person accountable for their own deeds
    • No need for a sacrificial Savior

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Atonement through Christ
    • Islam: Personal accountability without a savior

    6. SCRIPTURE

    Christianity:

    • Bible (Old + New Testament) is the final authority
    • 2 Timothy 3:16

    Islam:

    • Qur’an is the final revelation
    • Earlier Scriptures believed to be altered

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Bible is complete revelation
    • Islam: Qur’an is final correction

    7. ASSURANCE OF SALVATION

    Christianity:

    • Believers can have assurance in Christ
    • 1 John 5:13

    Islam:

    • No absolute assurance; depends on judgment

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Assurance in Christ
    • Islam: Uncertainty until judgment

    8. MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN

    Christianity:

    • Jesus is the only mediator
    • 1 Timothy 2:5

    Islam:

    • No mediator needed; direct submission to God

     Core Difference:

    • Christianity: Christ as mediator
    • Islam: No mediator

    FINAL THOUGHT

The central dividing line is Jesus Christ.

Matthew 16:15 — “Who do you say that I am?”

    Everything depends on that answer.

    • If Jesus is God and Savior → Christianity stands true
    • If Jesus is only a prophet → the Gospel is rejected

    These are not small differences—
they are foundational and irreconcilable at the theological level.

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
