    PART III

The Day Every Worker Gives an Account

    2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV)

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…”

    Introduction

Every employee eventually faces a performance review.

    Likewise,

every Christian will stand before Jesus Christ.

    Not for salvation.

    But for service.

The Judgment Seat of Christ is where believers receive rewards according to their faithfulness.

    1. Jesus Will Review Our Labor

    1 Corinthians 3:13-15

Our works will be tested by fire.

    Gold remains.

    Wood burns.

    The question is not,

    Were you saved?

    The question is,

    How did you serve?

    2. The Parable of the Talents

    Matthew 25

    Each servant received responsibility.

    The Master returned.

    One servant doubled his investment.

    Another did likewise.

    One buried his talent.

The problem wasn’t lack of ability.

    It was lack of faithfulness.

God expects us to use what He has entrusted to us.

    3. Will Jesus Ask About Your Assignment?

    Imagine standing before Christ.

    He may ask,

Did you tell others about Me?

    Did you use your gifts?

    Did you encourage the discouraged?

    Did you pray?

    Did you remain faithful?

    Did you complete your assignment?

    Not,

    Did you become famous?

    Not,

    Were you wealthy?

    Not,

How many followers did you have?

    But,

    Were you faithful?

    4. The Greatest Commendation

    Matthew 25:21

“Well done, good and faithful servant…”

    Notice,

    Jesus does not say,

    “Well done, successful servant.”

    He says,

    “Faithful servant.”

Faithfulness is heaven’s measure of greatness.

    5. Finish Like Jesus

    John 17:4

    Jesus could confidently say,

    “I have finished.”

    Can we say the same?

Every day should move us closer to finishing God’s assignment.

    Final Invitation

Perhaps you have become spiritually distracted.

Maybe you once served faithfully but have grown weary.

Today Jesus calls you back to your office.

    The Kingdom still needs workers.

    The harvest is still plentiful.

    Souls are still lost.

    The Gospel still saves.

    The Holy Spirit still empowers.

    And the Master still says,

“Occupy till I come.” (Luke 19:13)

    Series Conclusion

Every born-again believer has a divine office. We were not saved merely to inherit heaven—we were saved to serve the King of heaven. One day our earthly careers will end, our titles will disappear, and our possessions will be left behind. But the work we have done for Jesus Christ will follow us into eternity. Therefore, let us labor with joy, serve with love, persevere without growing weary, and finish our God-given assignment just as our Lord declared:

“I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.” — John 17:4 (NKJV)

May every believer live with one ambition: to stand before Jesus Christ and hear the words,

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:21)

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
