  • Bible Facts Of The Day, September 04, 2025 KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

    September 4th, 2025

    REVELATION 19:14

14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

Who is this King of kings and Lord of lords?

“The return of the King of kings and the Lord of lords” refers to the second coming of Jesus Christ, as described in Christian scripture, particularly the Book of Revelation, when he will establish his universal reign and cosmic authority on Earth. This event signifies his ultimate victory and return as the supreme ruler over all earthly kingdoms and powers, a title explicitly given to him in Revelation 19:16.

    Biblical Context

    • Title of Christ: The phrases “King of kings” and “Lord of lords” are titles given to Jesus in the Bible to denote his supreme power, sovereignty, and ultimate authority over all rulers and dominions.
    • Book of Revelation: The return of Christ under this title is most prominently described in Revelation 17:14 and 19:16.
    • Victory and Reign: At his return, Jesus is depicted as triumphant over his enemies and establishing his universal and cosmic kingdom on Earth.

    Key Aspects of the Return

Anticipation and Belief: Christians anticipate and believe in this return as a promise and a reminder of Christ’s supreme authority, which brings hope and a stable perspective on life and current events.

Establishment of God’s Kingdom: Jesus’s return will be the establishment of God’s kingdom in its fullness.

Triumphant Ruler: He will be the invincible king, exalted and ruling over every enemy.

Royal and Regal Authority: His arrival will be his most royal, regal, and righteous name revealed.

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
