Part III: The Decision That Determines Eternity

    Introduction

While Jesus did not come the first time to condemn the world, every person must decide what to do with Him. God’s offer of salvation calls for a response.

    1. Christ Invites Every Person

The gospel is proclaimed without distinction. Rich or poor, educated or uneducated, religious or irreligious—all are invited to come to Christ.

God’s saving invitation extends across every culture and generation.

    2. Rejecting the Savior Leaves One Under Judgment

The tragedy is not that God refuses to save sinners; it is that many refuse the Savior He has provided.

Those who reject Christ remain separated from God because they reject the only One who can reconcile them.

    3. Those Who Receive Christ Experience New Life

    Salvation brings:

    • Forgiveness instead of guilt.
    • Peace instead of fear.
    • Hope instead of despair.
    • Eternal life instead of eternal separation from God.

Believers become witnesses of the same mercy they have received, proclaiming Christ to a world in need.

    A Call to the Church

The church is commissioned to carry this message with urgency and compassion. We do not announce condemnation as our primary message—we proclaim the Savior who bore condemnation in our place and offers reconciliation through faith.

    Conclusion

John 3:17 reveals the astonishing heart of God. He sent His Son not to destroy sinners but to redeem them. The cross declares that God’s love is deeper than human failure, and His grace is greater than human sin. Yet the invitation must be answered.

Today, receive the Savior, rejoice in His mercy, and proclaim to the world that Jesus Christ came so that people “might be saved.”

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
