Bible Facts Of The Day, May 14, 2026 “The Bride Must Seek the Will of the Bridegroom – Part IV”

Part 4 — The Faithful Bride: Walking in Obedience Until Christ Returns

The Church is called to faithfulness.

A faithful bride seeks the desires of the bridegroom.

A faithful believer seeks the will of Christ daily.

The Holy Spirit was given to guide the Bride.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” — John 16:13 NKJV

Believers must never move ahead of God.

Moses understood this truth:

“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” — Exodus 33:15 NKJV

Many believers suffer because they act before hearing from God.

King Saul lost his kingdom because he acted independently.

“To obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV

The faithful Bride must remain:

  • Holy
  • Prayerful
  • Obedient
  • Spirit-led
  • Watchful

Jesus is returning for a prepared Bride.

“That He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing.” — Ephesians 5:27 NKJV

We were not created for this world.

We were created for Him.

“For by Him all things were created… All things were created through Him and for Him.” — Colossians 1:16 NKJV

Therefore:

  • Seek His voice
  • Seek His wisdom
  • Seek His direction
  • Seek His will in every matter

For the Bride must never move without the Bridegroom.

Closing Exhortation

The mystery of Eve reveals the mystery of the Church.

Eve came from Adam.

The Church comes from Christ.

Eve fell through independence.

The Church must overcome through obedience and dependence upon Christ.

The serpent still speaks today.

But the true Bride listens only to the voice of the Bridegroom.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27 NKJV

One day the trumpet will sound.

The Bridegroom will return.

And those who remained faithful to His will shall enter into eternal glory with Him.

“Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!” — Revelation 19:9 NKJV

Closing Prayer

Almighty God,
Prepare us to be a faithful and holy Bride for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Cleanse us from every stain of sin and purify our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit. Help us to walk in obedience, holiness, and reverence before You. Lord, keep us watchful and ready for the return of our Bridegroom. Let us not be distracted by the cares of this world or deceived by the enemy. Strengthen us to endure faithfully until the very end. Teach us to seek Your presence daily and to follow wherever Your Spirit leads. May our lives reflect the glory, purity, and love of Jesus Christ. We surrender ourselves completely to Your will. Let us be found ready when the trumpet sounds and the marriage supper of the Lamb begins.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
