Bible Facts Of The Day, June 25, 2026 “God Chooses the Weak to Display His Strength – Part I”

IntroductionGod’s power is perfected through humble dependence.

The world celebrates the strong, the influential, and the accomplished. God often does the opposite. Throughout Scripture, He chooses the weak, the overlooked, and the humble to accomplish His greatest purposes. Psalm 8:2 reveals that God ordains strength through “babes and nursing infants,” reminding us that His power is not limited by human ability.

1. God delights in humble instruments.

Children symbolize dependence and trust. They have no status or authority, yet God uses them to demonstrate His glory.

  • David was a shepherd boy when God called him.
  • Joseph was a forgotten prisoner before becoming a ruler.
  • Gideon considered himself the least in his family.
  • The apostles were ordinary men transformed by God’s power.

2. Human weakness invites divine strength.

God is not looking for self-sufficient people but for surrendered hearts. When we acknowledge our need for Him, His power is made evident through us.

3. Childlike faith pleases God.

Jesus repeatedly taught that the kingdom belongs to those who come with humility and trust like children.

Challenge

Stop focusing on your limitations and start trusting God’s unlimited power. He can use anyone who is willing to obey Him.

Closing Prayer

Father, thank You for choosing ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes. Help us to trust You with childlike faith and depend completely on Your strength rather than our own.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
