Bible Facts Of The Day, August 29, 2026 “The Sevenfold Fullness Of Jesus Christ – Part I”

SEVEN TREASURES IN CHRIST

Revelation chapter 5 opens the door of heaven and allows us to hear what heaven thinks about Jesus Christ.

On earth, Christ was rejected.

In heaven, Christ is worshiped.

On earth, He was mocked.

In heaven, He is magnified.

On earth, He was stripped.

In heaven, He is glorified.

On earth, men placed a crown of thorns upon His head.

In heaven, He possesses universal authority.

On earth, they cried:

“Crucify Him!”

But heaven cries:

“WORTHY IS THE LAMB!”

Revelation 5:12 gives us seven magnificent declarations concerning Jesus Christ:

1. POWER — Christ is able.

2. RICHES — Christ possesses everything.

3. WISDOM — Christ knows perfectly.

4. STRENGTH — Christ cannot be overcome.

5. HONOR — Christ deserves supreme reverence.

6. GLORY — Christ possesses divine majesty.

7. BLESSING — Christ deserves eternal praise.

These seven qualities form the foundation of this series.

PART I — POWER

THE LAMB WHO POSSESSES ALL AUTHORITY

Revelation 5:12 — “To receive POWER…”

The first thing heaven attributes to the Lamb is power.

This is remarkable because Revelation calls Him:

“the Lamb who was slain.”

A slain lamb appears powerless.

Yet the slain Lamb possesses unlimited power.

The cross looked like weakness.

But the cross became the greatest demonstration of divine power in history.

1. Christ Has Power Over Creation

Jesus stood in a boat during a storm and commanded:

“Peace, be still!”
— Mark 4:39

The wind stopped.

The sea became calm.

Creation recognized the voice of its Creator.

The disciples asked:

“Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
— Mark 4:41

Revelation answers their question:

He is the Lamb who possesses power.

2. Christ Has Power Over Satan

Throughout His earthly ministry demons trembled before Jesus.

Christ did not negotiate with demons.

He commanded them.

Satan is powerful—but he is not almighty.

Christ alone possesses supreme authority.

3. Christ Has Power Over Sin

Jesus said:

“The Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins.”
— Matthew 9:6

No priest, pastor, prophet, angel, or earthly institution can remove sin.

Only the blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse the sinner.

4. Christ Has Power Over Death

Jesus stood before Lazarus’ tomb and cried:

“Lazarus, come forth!”

And a dead man walked out.

Then Christ Himself entered death.

But death could not hold Him.

The grave could not imprison Him.

The stone could not contain Him.

On the third day—

THE LAMB ROSE!

5. Christ Has Power Over the Future

Revelation shows Christ taking the scroll.

History is not ultimately controlled by governments.

It is not controlled by armies.

It is not controlled by financial systems.

It is not controlled by Satan.

The scroll is in the hands of the Lamb.

Application

When you feel powerless, remember who lives within you.

When circumstances appear impossible, remember the Lamb.

When darkness appears victorious, remember the Lamb.

The Christian’s confidence is not:

“I am powerful.”

Our confidence is:

“MY CHRIST IS POWERFUL.”

Closing Declaration

Worthy is the Lamb to receive POWER!

“Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
