PART III — WISDOM

ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM ARE IN CHRIST

Revelation 5:12 — “…and WISDOM…”

Colossians 2:3 says concerning Christ:

“in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Notice:

ALL THE TREASURES.

Christ never learns anything.

Christ never discovers anything.

Christ never says:

“I did not know that.”

1. Christ Knows the Father Perfectly

Jesus came to reveal the Father.

He does not speculate about God.

He knows God because He came from God and is one with the Father.

2. Christ Knows the Human Heart

Jesus knew what people were thinking before they spoke.

He knew Judas would betray Him.

He knew Peter would deny Him.

He knew Thomas would doubt Him.

And yet He loved them.

Christ knows you completely.

Nothing about you surprises Him.

3. The Cross Reveals God’s Wisdom

Human wisdom would have chosen political conquest.

God chose a cross.

Human wisdom would have chosen an army.

God chose a Lamb.

Human wisdom says:

“Victory means avoiding death.”

God’s wisdom declared:

“Victory will come through death.”

At Calvary, what appeared to be Satan’s victory became Satan’s defeat.

4. Trust Christ When You Do Not Understand

There will be moments when God does not explain Himself.

You may ask:

Why this suffering?
Why this delay?
Why this closed door?
Why this loss?

Faith says:

“I do not understand—but Christ does.”

Closing Declaration

Worthy is the Lamb to receive WISDOM!

“Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
