PART VII — BLESSING

WHEN EVERYTHING ENDS IN WORSHIP

Revelation 5:12 — “…and BLESSING!”

The seventh and final declaration is:

Blessing.

The series began with power.

It ends with worship.

That is where everything ultimately leads.

1. Heaven Blesses the Lamb

Millions of angels surround the throne.

The elders worship.

The living creatures worship.

The redeemed worship.

Then Revelation 5:13 expands the scene to:

“every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea…”

Creation becomes a cathedral.

The universe becomes a choir.

And Christ becomes the subject of the song.

2. Worship Is the Language of Heaven

Heaven is not centered upon us.

Heaven is centered upon God and the Lamb.

We sometimes think about heaven primarily in terms of what we will receive.

No pain.

No sickness.

No death.

No tears.

All of those promises are wonderful.

But the greatest treasure of heaven is not the streets of gold.

It is not the gates of pearl.

It is not reunion with loved ones.

The greatest treasure of heaven is:

JESUS CHRIST.

3. Worship Begins Now

We do not have to wait until heaven to worship the Lamb.

Every believer can join heaven’s song today.

When you worship Christ in suffering, you are practicing the language of heaven.

When you praise Him despite circumstances, you are declaring His worth.

Worship means:

“Jesus, You are worthy regardless of what happens to me.”

4. The Final Picture

Now bring the seven messages together.

POWER — Christ is able.

RICHES — Christ possesses everything.

WISDOM — Christ knows perfectly.

STRENGTH — Christ cannot be overcome.

HONOR — Christ deserves supreme reverence.

GLORY — Christ possesses divine majesty.

BLESSING — Christ deserves eternal praise.

Seven declarations.

One Lamb.

Seven treasures.

One Christ.

Seven reasons for worship.

One eternal song:

“WORTHY IS THE LAMB!”

SERIES CONCLUSION — EVERYTHING IS EMBEDDED IN CHRIST

Church, what are you searching for?

Are you searching for power?

Come to Christ.

Are you searching for true riches?

Come to Christ.

Do you need wisdom?

Come to Christ.

Do you need strength?

Come to Christ.

Do you desire true honor?

Honor Christ.

Do you want to see glory?

Look to Christ.

Do you desire blessing?

Bow before Christ.

Because Revelation 5:12 teaches us something magnificent:

EVERYTHING WE NEED IS FOUND IN THE LAMB.

The answer is not merely power.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not merely riches.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not merely wisdom.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not merely strength.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not earthly honor.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not human glory.

The answer is Christ.

The answer is not merely receiving blessings.

THE BLESSING IS CHRIST HIMSELF.

And when history reaches its appointed conclusion, when earthly kingdoms have disappeared, when the final enemy has been defeated, and when the redeemed stand before the throne, one declaration will thunder throughout eternity:

“WORTHY IS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN!”

Closing Prayer for the Series

Heavenly Father, open our spiritual eyes to behold the greatness of Your Son.

Lord Jesus Christ, You alone are worthy.

Yours is the power when we are powerless.

Yours are the riches when we are spiritually poor.

Yours is the wisdom when we do not understand.

Yours is the strength when we are weak.

Yours is the honor above every name.

Yours is the glory that existed before the foundation of the world.

And Yours is the blessing forever and ever.

Remove every rival throne from our hearts.

Teach us not merely to seek what You can give us, but to seek You.

May our homes declare You worthy.

May our churches declare You worthy.

May our lives declare You worthy.

And may we join the innumerable company of heaven declaring with one voice:

POWER!

RICHES!

WISDOM!

STRENGTH!

HONOR!

GLORY!

BLESSING!

WORTHY IS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN!

In the mighty and glorious name of Jesus Christ,
