  • Bible Facts Of The Day, November 28, 2025 God Provides in Impossible Places

    November 28th, 2025

    Isaiah 43:20

20 The beast of the field will honor Me,
    The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
    And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.

    Introduction

Between the Thanksgiving Day and the Christmas Day (December 25), countless number of people feel hopelessness either because of loss of a loved one, or feel lonely for they do not have anyone to share their life with. And for those who deal with daily struggles with sin, that include addictions and other fleshly desires, there’s only one way to overcome these issues. Proverbs 3:5 declares to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Isaiah chapter forty three speaks volumes of God’s mercy and His grace. Let’s study the above passage from the same chapter and verse twenty.

    I. GOD’S PROVISION REVEALS HIS POWER

“I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert…”

    A. God does what no one else can do

    • Wilderness = places of lack
    • Desert = situations with no human solution
    • Water and rivers = life, strength, revival

    B. God is not limited by environment

    • Your surroundings do not restrict your Savior
    • He specializes in providing where provision seems impossible

    C. God’s provision is supernatural

    • Not “a cup of water” but rivers
    • God gives more than enough, not barely enough

II. GOD’S PROVISION IMPACTS ALL CREATION

“The beast of the field shall honor me, the dragons and the owls…”

    A. Even creation recognizes God’s hand

    • When God moves, everything around you senses it
    • God’s blessing on your life becomes visible to others

    B. God’s provision brings Him glory

    • Even the animals are pictured as praising
    • When God blesses you, the right response is worship

    C. Your breakthrough becomes a testimony

    • God’s works are never just for survival
    • They are meant to point people back to Him

III. GOD’S PROVISION IS FOR HIS PEOPLE

“…to give drink to my people, my chosen.”

    A. God provides because you belong to Him

    • He calls you “my people, my chosen”
    • He is committed to caring for His children

    B. God provides with purpose

    • He gives water so you can keep walking
    • Blessing is never random—it’s part of His plan

    C. God provides to revive His people

    • Water revives the weary
    • Rivers restore strength
    • God meets you where you are to carry you where He wants you to be

IV. APPLICATION: TRUST GOD IN YOUR DESERT SEASON

    A. Your desert is not your destiny

    B. God already has a river planned

    C. Don’t judge God’s faithfulness by your surroundings

    D. Expect God-sized provision in impossible places

    Conclusion:

God is not waiting for favorable conditions to bless you—
    He creates favorable conditions.

Where you see wilderness, He sees opportunity.
Where you see desert, He creates rivers.
Where you feel empty, He fills you.
Where you feel forgotten, He calls you chosen.

Trust Him. The river is on the way.

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
