BIBLE FACTS OF THE DAY

  • Bible Facts Of The Day, March 22, 2026 “Hold Fast Your Confession”

    March 22nd, 2026

    1. WE HAVE A GREAT HIGH PRIEST

This is not ordinary language—this is heaven’s declaration.

In the Old Testament, the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies once a year, trembling, carrying blood for the sins of the people.

    But now…

    • We don’t have a temporary priest
    • We don’t have a sinful priest
    • We don’t have a limited priest

We have a GREAT High Priest — Jesus Christ.

    What makes Him great?

    • He is sinless (Hebrews 4:15)
    • He is eternal (Hebrews 7:24)
    • He is divine — the Son of God

    This means:
    Your salvation is not fragile
Your access to God is not temporary
Your hope is not based on man

    Jesus is enough.

    2. HE HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HEAVENS

    This phrase is powerful.

    It means:

    • He didn’t just rise from the grave
    • He didn’t just appear on earth

He ascended—through the heavens—into the very presence of God.

Unlike earthly priests who stood in a temple made by hands…

Jesus entered the true throne room of God

    Why does this matter?

    Because:

    • Your representative is already in heaven
    • Your case is already before God
    • Your future is already secured

Where your High Priest is… you are spiritually anchored.

    3. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD

This is not just a title—it’s authority.

    • He is not just a mediator
    • He is not just an intercessor

He is God in the flesh

    That means:

    • His sacrifice is perfect
    • His authority is absolute
    • His intercession is unstoppable

When Jesus speaks for you in heaven…
no accusation from hell can stand.

    4. HOLD FAST YOUR CONFESSION

    This is the command.

    Not:

    • Hold loosely
    • Hold emotionally
    • Hold when it’s easy

    Hold FAST

    What is your confession?

    It is:

    • Your faith in Jesus
    • Your declaration that He is Lord
    • Your trust in His finished work

    Why must we hold fast?

Because life will try to shake it:

    • Trials will come
    • Doubts will whisper
    • Pressure will rise

    But the writer says:

    “Don’t let go.”
    “Don’t drift.”
    “Don’t go back.”

    5. WHY YOU CAN HOLD FAST

    You’re not holding on alone.

    Because:

    • Jesus is interceding for you (Romans 8:34)
    • Jesus understands you (Hebrews 4:15)
    • Jesus has already won

    Your grip may feel weak…

But His grip on you is unbreakable.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATION

    Hold fast when:

    • You don’t feel God
    • You don’t understand the season
    • You feel surrounded by pressure

    Because your High Priest:

    • Has already gone ahead of you
    • Is already speaking for you
    • Is already securing your victory

    CLOSING EXHORTATION

    Because Jesus is:

    • A Great High Priest
    • Who has passed through the heavens
    • Who is the Son of God

You have every reason to stand firm.

    So today:

    • Don’t give up
    • Don’t go back
    • Don’t loosen your grip

    Hold fast your confession.

    Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!
